I miss Maplestory 2

I've played New World. Now I miss Maplestory 2. Here are my reasons: MS2 did not have any noticeable bugs after launch. MS2 fostered creativity via the personal realms where you can decorate your own space. MS2 had a working PVP which also can be toggled. MS2 had a simplified guild system which functions as a base for more possible activities. MS2 had random events where you can win. MS2 had quick dungeon raids which were not mind numbing. MS2 allows you to create multiple characters per server. MS2 had a distinct vivid voxel art on its right. MS2 had an overarching story that you follow regardless of what class you choose. MS2 had pets that could deal a bit of damage. MS2 had mounts which can fly too and did not make travel a chore. MS2 shut down its global servers on March 27, 2020. My crew and I played MS2 for at least a year until we reached the top. Although the flame died out when we were satisfied with our in-game progress, we never thought that it was a bad game. a marauder diary: entry 1

Dear Marauder Diary,

The might Marauders have taken over Ebonscale today and we are most pleased. The new noble government also set the property tax to a low 5% which is most welcome. However the ungrateful yellows do not appreciate the low tax property because they can't stand losing their second territory. Now they are left with one territory. It is most pitiful. I'm worried for them as well that they may lose their last territory at this pace. They're not doing anything. And when they do lose their last stronghold, is it possible that every Covenant will submit to us? Is it possible to have only purples and greens in this world? Is it possible to eliminate factions altogether and be as one? Is that possible, diary? One can only imagine. 

Alas our enemies claim that our noble green faction cheated while the new government dared the yellows to back up their baseless claims. Purples are getting antsy too. The yellows say that the battle is broken and they cannot swing their weapons properly because of lag. What is lag? I don't know such language. And what is this cheating, diary? Apparently, when one side loses, it is customary to accuse the rival as a cheater. We lost Brightwood a couple of weeks ago, but we never accused anyone cheated and moved on. We would have had six territories if wasn't for a childish move when we defended it from the silly Syndicates. I recall that the defense did not place any siege weapons back then. 

Anyway, we're happy for now. We've learned many things. We're currently running these "loops" for Everfall, Cutlass Keys, and Morningdale. It's a busy time to be a Marauder. We want to create a country wherever we go. I guess the green morale is high now. We will liberate these cities soon.
